Research this question AS IF you were going to write a full 2000 word paper (i.e. 5-10 pages, 12 point font, double-line spacing, 1 inch margins). For your own benefit, you will probably need to PLAN the paper (see instructions for plans), so you know what material you would raise in response to the question and why. After you have made the plan, write an INTRODUCTION only, in SHORT NOTES. Your introduction will be 200-300 words of short notes.
Check out the Paper Writing link to find out what sort of thing goes into an introduction, and remember that some assigments may require other sensible additions to the introduction. Alternatively, you may find that some recommended parts of an introduction are not required for all assignments (for example, there may be no terms that need defining, or no ambiguities that need resolving). The implications/importance of the topic is always needed, however.
Before you toss off this paper thinking it is easy to not bother, remember that in some way as yet unknown to you, it will form part of your final assignment, so take it seriously!
