As you know, I've been in a car accident and this has disrupted the course somewhat. So notice where we have got to: we have completed unit 13, and we have a quiz due on Thursday. The quiz will include everything up to the end of unit 13. Your "Reviews" link is up to date. Be sure you know the relevant pages of the Paradigmatic History of Art too.

I will start appearing for class again now, but may not be able to stay for the whole session. Meanwhile, my colleagues are keeping the course going for me. I plan to resume the syllabus as soon as possible. Check this syllabus link before each class, to be sure you have the most recent information. Be ready to tell me properly about the work you have done in my absence!

Because this class begins at 8.00 a.m., and because my broken pelvis makes it impossible for me to walk to the class on time from my office in the library, Professor Holmes is conducting this course at the moment. We are working hard to get me back into the classroom - believe that we all want this! Hang in there, and let's hope I'm back for Tuesday 14th November. Meanwhile, support me by CONTINUING TO COME TO CLASS! Professor Holmes is an excellent and enjoyable teacher, and I rely on him to keep you up to date. We will do something creative with the syllabus when we all know what is actually going to happen, but he and I pretty much agree on what's what, so trust him!
